A Characterisation of Open Bisimilarity using an Intuitionistic Modal Logic

چکیده

Open bisimilarity is defined for open process terms in which free variables may appear. The insight is, order to characterise bisimilarity, we move the setting of intuitionistic modal logics. logic introduced, called $\mathcal{OM}$, such that modalities are closed under substitutions, induces a property known as hereditary. Intuitionistic hereditary reflects lazy instantiation performed when checking bisimilarity. soundness proof with respect our mechanised Abella. constructive content completeness provides an algorithm generating distinguishing formulae, have implemented. A Characterisation of Open Bisimilarity using an Intuitionistic Modal Logic

Open bisimilarity is a strong bisimulation congruence for the π-calculus. In open bisimilarity, free names in processes are treated as variables that may be instantiated; in contrast to late bisimilarity where free names are constants. An established modal logic due to Milner, Parrow, and Walker characterises late bisimilarity, that is, two processes satisfy the same set of formulae if and only...

On an Intuitionistic Modal Logic

In this paper we consider an intuitionistic variant of the modal logic S4 (which we call IS4). The novelty of this paper is that we place particular importance on the natural deduction formulation of IS4—our formulation has several important metatheoretic properties. In addition, we study models of IS4, not in the framework of Kripke semantics, but in the more general framework of category theo...

Intuitionistic Modal Logic

0 Intuitionistic modal logics originate from di erent sources and have di erent areas of application. They include philosophy (see e.g. Prior [1957], Ewald [1986], Williamson [1992]), the foundations of mathematics (Kuznetsov [1985], Kuznetsov and Muravitskij [1986]), and computer science (Plotkin and Stirling [1986], Stirling [1987], Wijesekera [1990]). Modalities are added to intuitionistic l...

A modal logic amalgam of classical and intuitionistic propositional logic

We present a modal extension of classical propositional logic in which intuitionistic propositional logic is mirrored by means of the modal operator. In this sense, the modal extension combines classical and intuitionistic propositional logic avoiding the collapsing problem. Adopting ideas from a recent paper (S. Lewitzka, A denotational semantics for a Lewis-style modal system close to S1, 201...
